today, jiaoqiu is wearing something like this, minus the guns and sword. he's poking around in the olive garden, nose wrinkled at some of the plants. his ears are just constantly swiveling, trying to catch any noises, and if eupha comes up on him, he immediately tenses and looks in her direction.

Oh. Miss Eupha. Good to see you again. This your first time here?

[ he rests his hands at his hips, kind of like he'd be tucking them into belt loops if he had them. ]

It's just as I imagined it would be. Really, I'd thought about a shooting range... but this fares better for keeping the peace.

I've never really tried it! It does seem like it would be rewarding, eating something you cultivated by yourself, though.

It definitely is. I haven't got the time to do it these days, but in my youth, all of my food was home grown.

[ he adjusts his belt, glancing at the seeds. ]

Would I! I think that would be wonderful.

We'll need to choose some seeds first, right?

[ comes over to look at them with him. ]

[ peers at the seeds. his fingers run over some of the peppers, and a couple of pretty flower packets. ]

Do you see anything you like?

Those peppers look promising. Perhaps we could try some potatoes, too?

Sure, sure.

[ he reaches for the potato seeds, and hands them to her. ]

I think this is the most domestic thing I've done in years.

It does. The last bounty I took had me traveling across several planets, one of which had no civilized life on it.
