[ there's a lot of emotion he feels about this that he tries to tamp down and swallow. the idea of feixiao going to war for him doesn't sound out of the question, but it also sounds - like too much. like he's thinking too highly of himself.
A detachment of my mercs fell out of communication, a little while back. We were in the middle of a warzone-- the most likely thing was that they ran into trouble they couldn't handle.
So I took another squad, told Hoederer and Ines not to come find us if we took too long to come back, and went to go find what the hell happened to my men. Trust me, doc, if she's the woman you've said she is, she'll do it.
