The way I understand it, there was a Stellaron that infected the world and plunged it into an eternal freeze. While of course that likely isn't what happened in your world, the survivors of the disaster had limited technology until the Astral Express found them.

It was a rather disjointed explanation. Miss Stelle is an excitable storyteller first, and an accurate one second.

It doesn't have to have those things to be interesting. My homeland doesn't have any of those.
