I can't be sure my theory holds any weight. It's only based off my best guess, and while I do trust my own judgement, nobody is infallible.
It just seems to fall in with the idea of redemption, and what it means to be a good person. How do we respond, in situations where morality is up for debate?
You mean like those awful questions the angels keep asking? The trolley, and... whether it's okay to kill sometimes?
But if you guys are right about those two being sick, what does that mean for those two? If they really didn't choose to do that, if it's like they were hypnotized or something - then it wouldn't be fair for them to be expelled for it. If this is just some messed up test, then no one should be dying at all.
