[ Marcoh's feelings are a bit more layered. It's been a rollercoaster, from thinking he'd go straight to hell to arriving in a pleasant heaven. Being told he could go back, a chance he couldn't reject no matter what because he had something he valued more than the weight of his own soul out there. Then things quickly went straight to hell and he couldn't even argue that perhaps this was how it was always meant to be for him after all.

A lot of him still dreads these last few days, still filled with tense anxiety about home, about Venere, because like it or not, he's two months late and he needs to go back but you all almost root him down, too. ]

[ He nods. He did expect as much when Jiaoqiu mentioned asking some Astral Express even though Marcoh has no idea who that is, but the fact that he's unfamiliar probably meant it was a home thing. ]

Ah, well. The weight of it will never go.

[ the weight is the reason that he doesn't feel much anymore - but he has felt a little less nihilistic, lately. the people he's met here have been so instrumental in dragging him out of the muck. ]

I don't know that I would feel right burdening them with all of this. [ ... ] Jing Yuan will be there. I suppose I will be going closer to his timeline than my own.
