We found ourselves with alternate memories. We were children who had a connection with a forest, in search of a tomb that could grant a wish. Upon finding that tomb, we discovered the one inside was in fact dead, and not sleeping, as we had hoped.
The forest was corrupted, at this point, and it took over my body. While we were driving to approach the forest, it had me attempt to kill the other three.

We found a river, in the woods. We were to sacrifice one of our number to fix things. [ a beat. ] But all of us were too stubborn to let anyone go on their own. So we went together.

They are trying. They're good people, even if they're as clueless as we are. [ as far as the angels go. but he does sigh at that last bit. yeah, he really did not want to let them out of his sight. ]
